POSTOJNA, 25. DECEMBER 2015: V Postojnski jami, kjer so v letu 2015 dosegli število 36 milijonov obiskovalcev v svoji 200-letni zgodovini, so na ogled postavili največje žive jaslice v jami na svetu. Postojnska jama je 115m globok in 24 kilometrov dolg podzemni kraški sistem tunelov, prehodov in dvoran. Je tudi edina jama na svetu z dvotirno železnico, po kateri poseben vlak obiskovalce popelje 3,5 kilometre pod zemljo, kjer jih čaka kilometer in pol pešpoti.

POSTOJNA, SLOVENIA - DECEMBER 25, 2015: The world's largest living Nativity Scene in a cave has been staged in the world-famous Slovenian tourist attraction the Postojna Cave. Live biblical scenes representing the birth of Jesus are staged in this cave annually. The Postojna cave is 115m deep and 24km long Karstic system of tunnels, passageways and magnificent halls. It has been a tourist attraction for 200 years. In 2015, the number of visitors reached 36 million. A special train on a one of a kind double railway track takes tourists 3,5km into the cave through tunnels and halls. There the cave offers a 1,5km of footpaths. In festive season from Dec. 25 to Dec. 31, the living Nativity scene stretches along these footpaths. The cave is also the home of the proteus, an aquatic cave-dwelling salamander found only in Europe.
